I am poorer,

Incredible how I make the best sketch in months, perspective and proportion and basically ready for lines, in a day yesterday, and this morning my PC’s power supply was declared dead at the scene and I can’t work on it further.

It’s strange. As an artist, I want my work to be seen as valuable without the audience needing to know me for that value to exist. But as an artist, I should have more value than any art I make just by being a person. It’s a deeply ingrained feeling, but it goes against everything else I know.

Wacom recently asked me to talk about why I make queer comics, and given there are multiple bills right now floating around in congress that are effectively "we will kill your livelihood if we get a sniff of queer" I had some pretty strong, simply feelings to relay.
