Does anyone have a strict definition of when a board game is a set collection game vs. a tableau builder? Or maybe some games that are 'pure' examples of those genres?

We have a joke about them but have a hard time agreeing with what BGG sees as a set collection game. 🤔

We've had someone remaking our comics in AI, not mention us at all, and when we asked about them about it we got "we wanted to translate your comics but I only know how to use AI" as an answer...

It's become hugely dispiriting how frequently I'm having to contact other tabletop news sites asking that they -please- cite BoardGameWire as the source of the story they've just directly lifted, slightly reworded or run through ChatGPT before slapping it on their site without attribution.
