A lot of what I was trying to say in 2000 words yesterday. There’s frustration because St. Louis are both ahead of schedule and under executing.
This is also a decent way of measuring "real" improvement/decline from last season; San Jose has 27 points from 20.35 xPts, above their predicted total of 13.79, the biggest lead of xPts over predicted xPts.
Meanwhile Sporting KC has 4 pts from 3.12 xPts, though the model predicted they'd be at 9.5
