I'm listening to an old Maintenance Phase episode about Jordan Peterson and the carnivore diet. I didn't realise until now that he originally shot to fame with a massive transphobic rant, but it doesn't surprise me.

Wear all black and carry a musical instrument case and you can walk straight in to just about any venue
A friend of mine says that a reasonably clean-cut guy in a blue blazer and tie can go almost anywhere without being challenged.

The Ocarina of Time remake looks awesome, have already pre-ordered it. I was hoping they would sell the Zelda-themed joy-cons separately, but it looks like you have to buy a whole new console to get them. Oh well - preordered the pro controller instead. Nintendo does Zelda stuff = I throw $$ at it

What I'm seeing happen in my government job: we are under increasing budget cuts and hiring freezes, yet are expected to produce the same amount of work. Managers are turning to AI to try and make up the difference. All it's really going to do is a) justify further cuts and b) produce shittier work
Letting a machine write your emails or spin up a PowerPoint presentation isn't cutting corners, those tasks are what you're being paid for.
