Hello, Bluesky.

My name is Shane. I live, work, and create on Treaty 7 territory in Southern Alberta. Writing fiction helps me make sense of the world, and why people do the things they do, which might explain all the monsters and blood. Hold on, this is going to be a bit of a weird ride.

I’ve had a lightly-subscribed-to newsletter for years, but I’ve finally made the move to Substack!

Don’t worry, my latest post is free. Other stuff, like old man feet pics won’t be, but that’s a conversation for another time.

Escaping the Storm update.

The cover is done. The manuscript is formatted, but still needs a quick proof before I upload and order a test copy. That may not happen until Monday, but I’ve learned to never say never.

Stay tuned, kids. Here and at ShaneKroetsch.com, something I don’t share enough.
