HA! I’m learning Italian with #Duolingo and tonight I couldn’t remember the word for ‘to check’ (controllare), so I tried to “Italianize” the word ‘verify’ instead. I guessed right! ‘Verificare’ = ‘to verify’, which Duolingo accepted for the missing word. Total shot in the dark! 🇮🇹

We will need a New new deal, a redistribution of wealth as basic income, guaranteed healthcare, childcare, education, and affordable housing.
