Every day, there’s something one of these people in the MAGA/religious right camp that makes you want to throw a Bible at them, but this one was too perfect that if I were on Twitter, I would have atted her with this.

Kevin Spacey, the good at creepy actor who turned out to be just that, preying on men in theater and on film sets, brought down by an actor who played a bitchy gay scientist on Star Trek: Discovery.
The Rise & Fall of __________ will be utterly unbelievable as a hot mess of a movie, but absolutely true.

Ed Sheeran, whose capitulation and throwing a longtime friend under the bus over speaking two words, quickly became a busker on what was left of his tour.
We live in such times where it’s so easy to fill in the blank.

Next in the series is Sinema’s bestie Mitch McConnell, who rose from being a sickly kid from KY to the most artfully obstructive asshole of a senate leader paving the way of power for a man he hates, coming full circle to the sickliness as his staffers take advantage of the shell of a man he is now.

Krysten Sinema: the bait & switcher Dem, prioritized her weird clothes, expensive experiences, GOP friendships, and the trappings of power over actually doing her job as a senator, recently has added hot mess affair with her former staffer & lawsuit from his wife to her resumé.

This week, thanks to random YouTubers, I found out Jeffree Starr finally found out his shelf life has expired, long overdue, and got angry and gaslighty when he was called out and roasted for it.

Bitch was on bankruptcy-level borrowed time since his 15 seconds of MySpace fame was up.

My longtime radio voice crush… it’s over.
I’m sorry, but if you bring an iced coffee - or any damn beverage at all - to a job interview, you’re disqualified. It’s not hard, people.

This GOP politician is (allegedly) gay.

I'm drinking a soy latté
I get a double shotté
It goes right through my boddé
And you know I'm satisfied

This is something I’ve never thought of before until last week…

I’d never show up with a beverage not because I’m afraid of doing some faux pas but that it’s a spill risk for me.

But for some of these interviewers that it’s a faux pas was quite telling about them and job interview culture.
Getting caught up on iced coffee debate… of course it’s recruiters and HR that are in their bubble debating this.

Job interview norms are set by them, some they tell us, but can ding us on all the things they don’t tell us. Then there’s all the unspoken biases they have toward neurodivergent people

Especially dress codes. Being in a suit or in shirtsleeves and a tie is unnatural, especially in San Diego.

However, I can out-dress the interviewer, even without a tie.
And job interviews are unnatural AF as it is.

A couple of days ago, the Goldilocks bot followed me and my alt, blocked that profile, and it seemed like it died from multiple blocks. Girl, if you follow a bunch of bears, don’t be spammy because nothing was just right about you.

Uhura’s beehive hairdo is near-faithful. Nurse Chapel’s, though, looks like it would slap your diner order down on the counter and tell you to kiss its grits.
The Star Trek Beehive Timeline:

Pilot: The Cage: no beehives but very 1960s.

SNW: No beehives (in the present) except for Una’s occasional ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ ponytail .

In this S4 finale: beehives are back (in the near future)

TOS: women characters major and minor have beehives or updos.

Also I forgot about Discovery, which covers between after “The Cage Pilot” before SNW and centuries after TNG/DS9/VGR/LD/Picard/Prodigy timeline. No beehives.

One of the oddest things I like to do is to find a parody name for something and regularly use it to refer to them. Like calling Queen Amidala Queen Amygdala.

Tom Tykver has a decent offering with 3, where a husband and wife are having affairs with the same man and the happy ending is predictable but at amicable.

Tykver also collaborated with the Wachowskis on Cloud Atlas and Sense8 (mainly with Lana).

Correction: all the medals are actually on his cape. Still, I’ve always wondered where did they all come from as Picard was quite disdainful of his lack of wartime experience. Was he given them like how some veteran gave TFG a Purple Heart? Or the Great Houses gave him theirs as tribute/a bribe?
Gowron, whose armor is full of medals that imply stolen valor, is a likely candidate to be peddling patents for extinct houses or those fallen on to dishonor.
You want a seat on the High Council? No problem. This house name and title has a checkered history of men falling on their own bat’leths for their sense of honor, taking on shame for the greater good, but can be yours for the right price.
