I 100% prefer gog over steam and epic . Humble Bundle too #digitalownership
To boost off of this:
GOG > STEAM for buying digital games
- Permanent ownership w/ standalone offline installers
- You OWN the .exe and can back it up on HDDs, discs, etc.
- Can download even if the publisher shuts down or removes the game from the store
- Games aren't tied to your profile

The problem is not being digital. The problem is ownership! With steam you have full access to the game files, you can backup then, you can make a physical copy if u want. At least you have some control. GOG EVEN BETTER, u have COMPLETE ownership, even if its digital! Sony is taking ownership away!
