Taking my boy back to university tomorrow and have had to pay £200 for a room in the hotel when my friend swears her son caught scabies. We stayed there last year and it is grim but everything else available was about four hundred quid as it is student moving in weekend. 🐞

The dentist waived the charge for my dad, that was kind.
My dad just rang said he has a dental appointment at 2pm. I took him to the GP on Wednesday and to the hospital yesterday. I cannot just keep leaving work to do all of this.

My parents have never driven. Whenever I take my dad anywhere i have to open the car door like an actual chauffer otherwise he just slams it into the car parked next to us. 🫤
Have had massive IT issues today and was getting more and more behind and stressed while holding for the Helpdesk . In the end I woke my son up and he sorted it all out for me. He even let me give him a huge hug and kiss afterwards. ❤️

I have to take my dad for blood tests tomorrow at the hospital . I’ll have to leave work early. The main stress factor is parking at these places.

Ny dad’s GP receptionist was her usual unhelpful self today yet when an other patient pointed out her ineptitude I felt quite sorry for her. I think she went off for a little cry 😢

I rang my brother at 7.50pm yesterday to speak about the worsening situation with my parents. He didn’t pick up. He never does in case he is asked to actually do something. He just messaged saying sorry, he was in bed. At 7.50pm

My dad wants me to ring BT and ask for a new battery for his handset as this is what his friend John did apparently 🙄
I have ordered him a new handset for £23.99. We are off to the GP who finally deigned to give him an appointment.

Finished work. Rang my dad on his iPhone which of course he didn’t answer . Called on landline, he answered and told me his Prostatitisis is back. Just once I’d like to have a day free of this worry. I’m going to have to take him to the GP aren’t I?

My youngest son is going back to university next week. He doesn’t say much but he is a very easy person to live with. He is always in a good mood . Much like my other son now I think of it. Now daughters, wonderful as they are, seem to require a little more careful handling.

At least 30 years ago I read an article in Vogue (I think) about a £5k beautiful dress that Jemima Goldsmiths parents bought her. Jemima justified the cost saying she would wear jt many times. I bet she only wore it once 🤣

My daughter and I have my future daughter in-law’s hen weekend to look forward to. Two days in York visiting the Christmas markets and watching Christmas films. This is my idea of a perfect time. 😊
