He literally set off a bomb in a UK street. If this had been the IRA Pierce would calling for them to be hung, drawn and quartered.

This is domestic terrorism pure and simple. A bomb set off to terrorise with the aim of getting a government to change its policy. Literally a textbook definition.

I live in Gosport although I almost ashamed to admit it. I take some comfort in the fact that a considerable number of the protesters do not appear to live here.
Reform just launched Facebook ads *specifically* targeting the Gosport area (PO12-14 postcodes), scene of repeated protests against the arrival of small boats.

Full marks to Bobby J for not bothering to mention that this was entirely due to being given £45 million from the Labour government and told to do it. Even a Reform council couldn't fuck that up.

A man builds an IED.

He sets it off in a busy public street.

Shrapnel flies about hitting cars, homes and a child's bedroom.

It's a miracle nobody is injured.

And Reform MP Sarah Pochin calls his imprisonment "disproportionate" and "two tier justice."

Andy Burnham is coming for your pension! By... er... increasing it by slightly less.

Whereas Reform will scrap it completely.

Look at the contrast here with what happened with the masked jackbooted thugs who descended on Dover the other day.
Dozens of arrests at Liverpool outside the Labour Party conference.

Elderly 'terrorists' protesting against the genocide were manhandled away by Merseyside Police using Labour legislation proscribing Palestine Action.

This is a matter of deep shame for Labour.

Netflix's new reality show "Wonka's Golden Ticket" uses AI Gene Wilder as its host. The beloved comedian passed away in 2016, but his voice lives on in AI form. At least Netflix didn't use AI to create the new Oompa Loompas.

What do you think of this AI resurrection? Let us know in the comments 👇

Just me saying that any effort to tackle misinformation must be an attack on Reform, thereby admitting that Reform are helping Russia to spread far right narratives and create dissent and unrest.

I live in Gosport and I certainly don't feel that we've been invaded except possibly by Reform and Restore supporters.
“Successive Governments” 👀

Suella Braverman was in successive governments.

Twice as Home Secretary and once as AG.

Just because I strongly oppose any measure to tackle Russian misinformation, doesn’t mean I’m on Russia's side.
In unrelated news, one of the few times I bothered turning up for work as an MEP was to vote AGAINST measures to tackle the spread of Russian misinformation...

I'm pretty sure I went to that one. Obviously "The Devils" is the most renowned but I have a soft spot for both the others which are both completely bonkers in their own way.
On this day (23rd September) in 1989, the Scala Cinema was showing Crimes Of Passion (1984), Lair Of The White Worm (1988) and The Devils (1971) as a Ken Russell triple bill.
