I've been hearing variations on "Both parties are the same, it doesn't matter who gets elected" my entire life and it's never been true and it drives me bonkers. This is specifically about #nzpol but even now I'm sure some office blowhard is saying it in the US too.

Non-car options can't come fast enough.
From 1980-2007, the US halved the number of pedestrian deaths. A great success story. Now people are distracted by smartphone while driving bigger, heavier and therefore deadlier cars. Pedestrian deaths are now back to 1980 level. Fully self-driving vehicles can't come fast enough! buff.ly/jSocPaa

The National Government have made it harder for you to vote. It's important you make sure you are enrolled as you won't be able to enrol in the two weeks before election day anymore. The best time to enrol is right now - so head to vote.nz online, call 0800 36 76 56 or free text 3676. Pass it on 😉
