AI builds it, we break it, then AI fixes it. So coding in the future will just come down to verification, i.e. making sure the code works

cursor is doing all my coding for me --> eventually I shouldn't care at all about the underlying language --> everything written in rust? --> rust replaced by some new AI-native, hyper-efficient programming language?

remote work surge + AI-powered productivity spike = fewer SWE jobs = chaos for new grads

at the speed AI moves, if you're not borderline embarrassed by your product from 6m ago, you're doing it wrong

It seems extremely clear to me that outcome-based pricing is the future of AI agents. If your agent fixes my problem, I pay. If not, go away.

Cursor's rise is undeniable, with influencers championing its use and creating content to teach others how to maximize its value. This trend is a strong indicator of future success. Like Figma and Midjourney, rapid growth will be fueled by customer passion.

your ICP doesn't need to be human, just needs to have high WTP and, importantly, the ability to pay

just a friendly reminder... sending data to Deepseek means it takes a little international vacation. So, yeah, maybe reconsider before uploading your personal info and tax returns. 😅

4 months ago: "I'm sticking with my M1 MacBook. It's a powerhouse, no need for an upgrade."

after deepseek: "How many Mac Minis should I buy to run deepseek R1 70b with ultra-low latency?" 🤔

you see deepseek and lose it on twitter

I see deepseek and build a new twitter

we are not the same

just zero-shotted tetris with deepseek r1 on my local setup. this was the final project for two CS college classes.

changes my kids learn how to code (in the traditional sense) approaching zero...

I have to say it again, DeepSeek R1 is mind-blowing! It's running locally on my M1 MacBook with LM Studio. Sure, it struggles a bit (mostly with memory, I think?) but now I'm walking around w/ a model more powerful than GPT-4o. AND it's open-source? Wild.

deepseek r1 is insane on so many levels

agent = doing something for me when I'm AFK

Prompt chaining is not the way. It's the Rube Goldberg machine of LLM workflows: fun to build, terrible to scale. It took us a while to figure out how to scale ML pipelines -- time to apply those lessons to LLM workflows.

60x EV/NTM Rev.... let's raise a glass to all the unsung investment banking analysts struggling to squeeze $PLTR into a tidy comps bar chart. not all heroes wear capes.
