Despite being in the states for 30 years, I still have an accent. Not heavy, but it's there. Hearing myself talk, it's hard not to feel self-conscious. Logically, I know it's fine. An accent is nothing to be ashamed of; it's where you come from. But emotionally, I just want to sound cool and fit in.

I love trains. I'm disappointed with my train experience in Germany this week.

My train from Frankfurt to Cologne was delayed for 45 mins. Okay.

My train from Cologne to Frankfurt cancelled the stop that I was supposed to get on. I was emailed 30 mins before boarding.

Random thought: I think it's great that we celebrate the non-stereotypical gays, because they often don't feel they belong. At the same time, let's also make sure we don't make those who have stereotypical traits feel who they are is bad or inferior. Neither is superior. We're all different 🥰

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven’t been on much (missing all your cute pics and fun posts 😭). Life’s been busy in a great way. I finally found a new job and just started last week.
