After a lot of scraping and cleaning, the two tracks to the shed finally work!! These have not worked since ballast was glued like 8 years ago…!

Okay, gang. I need some help. The track to the engine sheds has been dead forever. Like since I ballasted 8 years ago.
There’s no visible debris in the points. The rail surfaces are spotless. Any suggestions on how to clean the inside of the points more thoroughly?

I don’t show many pictures of my Sir Handel model! He’ll be replaced by a Bachmann model eventually, but I’m actually quite pleased with how he turned out.

Duncan hasn’t been able to haul trains, since I never bothered to put a coupler on him. The other day, I decided to finally get him coupled up!
He struggles a little since his body is so light, so I’ll have to find a way to add weight.

The road has been weathered! To quote George Lucas, “I may have gone too far in some places”, but that’s okay! Looks much better than clean! Looks much more used and lived in! 🚂

I don’t get Duke on the layout nearly enough! The model is about 90%, but I could never find the correct sized handrail knobs to fit this kit.

Finally did something I’ve wanted to do for a while! I repainted the pavement on my layout! Previously it was a tan color (photo 2) I was never satisfied with this as it’s grey in the TVS.
