How President Trump Broke the Kennedy Center (Gift Article)
Internal emails and documents demonstrate the political capture of the institution, including how officials once pursued a plan to unload much of the art collection.

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $8 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of American households is worth just $4.27 trillion.

Read that back.

These execs knew all along the immense theft they committed.

According to the American Automobile Association, diesel hit its highest recorded ave price today at just above $6.44 per gallon. What’s missing from those headlines is that increases in the price of diesel are always mirrored by the price of heating oil - it’s only September but winter is coming.

The US already got a do over. A mulligan. A second chance.

Much of the world, especially US allies, were ready to write off Trump’s first term as a fluke.

The American people’s choice to put him back in power—as a convicted felon, after an openly bigoted, anti-democracy campaign—showed it was not.
This is the part many Americans -- including the Bezosites at the Washington Post -- don't understand. Canadians don't see this just as a Trump thing. It's that America elected him twice, and the second time with an even bigger mandate.

The problem we're addressing is America, not Trump.
"Out of spite for President Donald Trump, Carney is accelerating the decoupling of a trade bloc that has generated enormous prosperity for North America." Seriously, Wapo editorial - you're going with Canadian spite? www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...

It seems like he's already starting to do this. He already knows that no one likes him. He sees what is the likely outcome. I wish there wasn't so much time in between election and inauguration/the seating.
I have said for a while that once Trump understands that the public is rejecting him, he's just going to maliciously destroy as much as he can.

It will be an interesting test case for the unitary executive crowd when that unitary executive decides to burn it all down.
