I didn’t really understand why I was so completely exhausted this weekend, but having checked my phone’s Health app it appears I went from climbing, on average, one flight of stairs a day over the past month or so, to, uh, twenty flights a day in the last week

yesterday was Day 4 of S’more and Cats’ Very Long Journey, but now that we are at the end of it the cats get to sit around in the new apartment being unsettled while I still have One Million Things to do to set up an apartment, residency in a new state, &c.

good morning; it is now Day 2 of S’more and Cats’ Very Long Journey and I am happy to report that, despite no inconsiderable effort, at no point during Night 1 did any cat manage to climb up into the hotel box spring to escape the terrors that await them (more driving)
