more information on how layoffs have impacted microsoft studios continues to trickle out. today I've confirmed that blizzard china suffered layoffs, and id software lost around half its staff just as it released dlc that required "significant" crunch

Sometimes I think about when I was a robotic engineering student 10 years ago fascinated with the idea of AGI emerging someday, tinkering w simple markov chain bots and the like in python and feeling like it was the coolest thing ever
