I know I've been in the game for a bit but getting this review from them meant a ton.

At some point, I fell into the known trap of "staying busy" and sharing nothing, while constantly making stuff. Sure art can be for yourself, but what's the point of cramming everything in just to die with it?

Were we ever ready for it?

It's 2026 and I'm still doing 3D sketches in VR because I haven't found a faster way to get a 3D idea out of my head in 1-2 hrs. (I've tried everything)

The time saved from not needing a 2D ref, sculpting, retopo, UV... absolutely CRUSHES my best days with Zbrush or Nomad.

Sculpting stuff to 3D print and air brush at some point. Trying to find the right piece to land on for the first print.

I respect young artists who effectively throw job security and caution to the wind to talk candidly online for authenticity. It's reckless, but as I get older I just miss not being afraid of messing up.
