Quality night in Manchester with Todd Rundgren, who at 78 still hasn't lost any of his power to captivate and dazzle.
A true music maverick.

One of the great things about working at Snips is the opportunity to meet so many talented people.
Jonathan asked me recently if he could design a prop for the store, and in a Ray Stantz-esque level of unpreparedness, I just blurted out...
"EVIL BONG!"
Absolutely blown away by this.

There's an absence of new movies on Inside The Video Store this week, so to pad out the already excessive running time, I took a little walk around the store...

Retail locations in three continents and four countries—the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia—carry The Physical Media Advocate, so if you happen to be near a store that does, pick up your copy in person to get the full old school physical media experience.

This release turned into something quite special. Coming in November from @88films.bsky.social is the Neveldine / Taylor film GAMER (2009).
4K UHD / Blu-ray / 3D Blu-ray! Stacked with special features too, including an audio commentary by Matty Budrewicz and Dave Wain!

Friday again? But it's only been seven days since the last one!?!
NEW Inside the Video Store is up.
This week there's some new imports, a little bit of Warner Archive, and a bounty of Peter Weir... for good reason!

Arguably though it's akin to Paul Daniels turning up without Debbie McGee.
Been stood in my local HMV for a good hour and thirty now, Sharpie in hand, ready to sign copies of mine and @snipsmovies.bsky.social’s 88 Films/Full Moon disc endeavours. Alas, no takers. Maybe I should drop my £45 asking price? I think it’s fair personally; like, it includes a photo op 🤷♂️

The awful news keeps coming too:
RIP filmmaker and Schlock Pit pal John Lechago 💔
Lovely, lovely bloke and one helluva talented director and artist. He helped me and @snipsmovies.bsky.social so much over the years. Will never, ever forget it.
Thoughts with his family.
