Donald Trump has done a lot of terrible things to this country over the last decade. But here’s what I think is most insidious of all:

Here's another dark possibility. Netanyahu can't be happy with this ten-point deal. So, what if he continues to lob a few missiles into Iran to goad them into responding with missiles of their own and thereby force Trump's hand?

Other possibility is he unilaterally announced a cease fire hoping Iran will honor it and allow ships through the Strait of Hormuz. If not, he blames them for breaking a cease fire they never agreed to and starts bombing anyway, but with his typical denials of responsibility.

There's an outside possibility that Trump's 2-week cease-fire announcement is just a ruse to get Iranians to abandon their human circles around their bridges and power plants so that he can move forward with the bombing campaign without killing civilians. Time will tell. #iranwar #Trump #Taco

People keep talking about the possibility of US boots on the ground in Iran. Gang, they ARE there. I guarantee you we have special forces and CIA teams running covert op missions right now. Not tens of thousands. But certainly a few dozen are already there. You have to be naive to think otherwise.

Trump and Rubio assumed Iran would fold again like they did last summer. But Iran now realizes that folding last summer after an unprovoked attack was an existential mistake. They simply cannot do that again and maintain their self-respect as a nation. Trump miscalculated badly.

Please, please, media outlets, remember the C word: context. You can’t discuss Trump’s apes post - or his ‘blame a staffer’ excuse - if you’re not also factoring in and reminding your viewers/readers about his birtherism, his ‘send her back’ remarks, him calling Somalis ‘low IQ’.

Videos verified by The New York Times show Alex Jeffrey Pretti, the man federal agents shot and killed in Minneapolis on Saturday, was holding a phone, not a gun, when the agents took him to the ground and shot him. In total, at least 10 shots appear to have been fired within five seconds.
