The big reason for joining the sale was the new cover for Faux Boo. It's still being updated across all E-book sites but I'm glad to have a much more legible cover this time round.
More new covers are in the works,but I will roll those out with updated books,new collections,and full on rewrites.

A positive of all this behind the scenes work has been helping find ways to allow me to keep working while still at a full time job. So before where I'd have to wait till I got home to continue writing, now I can keep working on my breaks allowing inspiration to flow when I have it.

A major issue of mine is my book covers. I lost the project files so I will be starting fresh for each of them to better fit the books and hopefully entice new readers.

So I got feedback on not just the new book I was working on but also on some older books I was looking into redoing. I have a bit to improve but I think overall, this is going to make things so much better.

But I absolutely am having a blast writing this end of high school story. Especially set in a magical, fantasy world, who needs resumes when you need to know first aid and gear upkeep more.

I've realized what sort of stories I enjoy telling in romance and it's polygamous ones. Something about people having multiple partners and it not cheating has been fun to play with when workshopping other stories.

I have coworkers who want to read my romance novel when it's done. Trying to figure out if I warn them I also wrote erotica or that there will be gay spice scenes?
Side note, this entire book was spawned by an erotic short story. I'm going to include it at the end of book 1 for a tease of book 2.

So, first tamer romance novel has hit a new milestone. The outline is done, chapter 1 is done and there's only 20 chapters to go. You read that right, this is my first full sized novel. I have follow ups planned, one a spin off erotic short story and then a second book. No name yet, so stay tuned.

Outside the outlines and writing, I am also going to revise all my covers again. I want to relook into font based covers and going a bit more simplistic.

I have my first, much tamer, romance novel outlined spice is still to be decided, but the plot has been figured out. Now comes the hard part... writing it. Working on the outline for other new books to come out this year.

So first things first, 2026 is most likely going to be the year of shifting from purely spicy erotica, to slightly spicy romance.
I've had some really fun ideas and can't wait to share more about them when they get closer to release.
My goal this year is to nearly double my releases.

My full time job and then sickness said "Writing? What's that?" Good news as I heal up I spent time to sit down and hard figure out what stories I want to tell, how hard I wanna push myself each year, and how I want to use TikTok. Overall, time to gun the gas and get this back on track.

So, looks like this place wants to get rid of fictional NC, Dub-Con and "Dangerous Kink". That sucks. Means I'll have to stop posting about some of my upcoming books if it goes into effect, but I'm not going to change what I write to appease corporations.

Enjoyed Megaplex this year. Hopefully next year I can come as a vender with physical copies of my books. Goal for the next year it put out a physical edition of "A Faux Boo" and possibly get art made for it.

There are things that just take the winds out of your sails. A poor release is one of them. The interest from before "Faux Boo" came out sadly didn't translate into sales. It happens and is a big part of being an independent writer. Here's hoping it finds readers as time goes on.

The Visa and Mastercard situation is... frustrating. As someone who writes stories with kink it's annoying someone who isn't the reader, gets to decide what my readers can get off too.
