The world has lost a giant. Charles Glatzer “Chas” was a mentor, a friend, a brother, and one of the most brilliant, generous human beings. My heart is broken. Sending love, strength, and prayers for peace to everyone whose life he touched, and especially to his family, whom he loved so deeply.

My father served with the “Fighting Third” Marines and witnessed the iconic flag raising on Mt. Suribachi, Iwo Jima. Given the odds of that battle, I consider myself lucky to be here. My son and I recently visited the Iwo Jima Memorial. Today we remember those who sacrificed all and did not return.

I grabbed this quick shot as the wedding second line turned the corner and made its final approach to the hotel. I love how the motion blur in the image truly captures the energy of the moment. 💫 So much joy!

Heartbroken to share that I had to let Norma Jean go last night. This sweetest cat ever was 12 when she rescued me two years ago. We made the most of every moment. She loved greeting everyone with her gentle sweetness.

When you get to know me, this photo of my mom (the fearless one on the right) with her tribe makes so much sense. She’s the one who taught me what it means to live boldly and love your people fiercely.
