So, Banksy bought a used yacht, repaired it and retrofitted it to serve as a rescue boat to save migrants in the central Mediterranean. The whole project cost the artist $860,000. Since 2020, the boat has saved more than 3,800 people.

2. Even if it was accurate - the whole point of insurance is that everyone pays in *case* they need it because by pooling resources it is *cheaper for everyone*.
The people not using it are subsidizing it for others - so when they need it it is there.

If this legislation passes it will almost certainly increase labour disruptions rather than reduce them. Wildcat strikes will become increasingly common.

Canadian exports to the EU cannot compensate for lost access to US markets. But a lack of fiscal restraint in Washington, coupled with the war in the Middle East, means it scarcely matters. Canadian exports are still growing as the Trump administration's economic policies work at cross-purposes.
