I am seriously losing my #$HIT about companies using cyber "tools" that hack into other companies computer systems.

IF I USED CYBER TOOLS AND HACKED INTO COMPANY COMPUTER SYSTEMS I WOULD BE IN PRISON BY NOW.

Particularly pleased with the 18 pin surface mount chip (SOP18) I replaced using a blow torch and cold chisel (almost).

Hot air gun (2200W) used to remove a surface mount chip. Surface mount, donor, chip removed. Faulty chip removed by cutting off the 18 pins with a Stanley knife.

Who'd guessed I'm packing for my skiing trip 🤪
Items to take skiing. A USB soldering iron, insulation tape, two power banks, USB charger, USB cables, sellotape, reading glasses (£1.79 from Aldi), contact lenses (for skiing) & passport in its wallet (to get to my destination).

3D printer PSU that failed on Friday evening and I'm still waiting for my next day delivery and a 12V LED lighting transformer that has a failed thermal fuse - and seems to run cool so that one is fixable

Sometimes I wish I had the time to slow down and weave all over the place in front of the people, that I've just managed to squeeze passed, who added 3 seconds to my walk to the station. But, then I guess, that would add 6 seconds to my walk 🤷‍♂️
