Hi, I'm Steve. I am a master procrastinator and excuse lyricist. When I'm not doing that, sometimes I'll paint stuff. Here's a bit of a thread of that.
It's Michael Keaton's fault.
I have always loved pen and ink. What inspired me to become an artist was comic books. Or rather, the Batman movie, then the comic books my uncle Robert lent a newly obsessed-with-super-heroes Steve.
So I guess it's more Robert's fault.

Because I am getting old, by the end of a convention day of sketching and socialing, I have nothing left in the tank to write anything meaningful, interesting, or funny. (It seems run on sentences are fully functional.) So with a lack of context or commentary: some of today's Dragon Con doodles.

Magic Con Amsterdam! Come see just how broken and disheveled a jet-lagged and overworked me can look! I can shake my head back and forth, my baggy eyelids can flap back and forth and slap my ears! Truly a marvel and a horror to behold.

I got to paint with my favorite people again!
The Lightweaver Foundation and the Compass Gallery hosted an amazing paint night. We painted characters from the Cosmere, while Hoid himself heckled us. Art was made, laughter was had, crayons were eaten.

I'll be at MagicCon Amsterdam in July, doing my usual shenaniganery. Signing cards, sketching, and making up stories about how I got into art via a lab experiment gone awry, leaving me forever changed or somesuch.
