NYT best 30 living songwriters left off Tom Waits, Jackson Brown, Randy Newman, Billy Joel, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Stephen Stills, AND Neal Fucking Diamond. It must have been an American list. Otherwise leaving out Paul McCartney would be enough for criminal charges.

I've met Dolores Huerta several times. This news is sad on its own, but that woman is wonderful and an inspiration. I would support renaming all those streets to Dolores Huerta Blvd. But I think maybe having a Farmworker Blvd in every city would better serve the whole of the people in the movement.
