At a conference in Austin. My sister and I have a tradition of grabbing a drink at the Driskill when I’m in town for this conference.

Kiddo has never seen a performance space where he doesn't want to show off, be it in front of bleachers, an elevated fireplace, or a crowd facing him. So we signed him up for pre-k musical theater classes. I suspect the end-of-year show will be amazing.

Best case scenario, IMO, is that this whole fiasco kicks off a new anti-trust movement focused on media companies and everything gets broken up back into component parts again.

Bittersweet trip. K got to see his EIGHT cousins, all with 5 years of him—four older, one roughly his age, and three younger—and his aunts, uncles, step-grandmother, and other family. But the trip was to say goodbye to their grandfather.

Lemme share a total failure of conflict resolution HOA story:
Guy moved into the neighborhood and all went well at first, but he’s a veteran with PTSD and his mental health begins deteriorating. He stops taking care of the property or himself.

I don’t think they should either. They should ask the person if they’re ok. The assumption should be to check on the person, to see if they need help and be neighborly. Not to be cop-like.
