This has been the most surreal couple of weeks I don't even know what to think one day I'm living my best life as an art student eager for a new semester and now I've dropped out and am waiting for the weekend to be over so I can call a specialist's office to schedule a biopsy bc I might have cancer

my bf is a portfolio manager at a bank and works mostly on commercial loans, we don't talk much about his job though (banking privacy laws and such) so seeing him discuss the terms of a car loan we might have to get was kinda hilarious actually

I do not understand the math that insurance companies use to determine if a car is a total loss but they are going to give me an amount that will make a significant down payment on a new car so time to great driving I guess. I still think they could have just fixed my car but whatever.

after a lot of thinking, I have decided that I will be taking a break from art school this semester - my car is being declared a total loss after I was rear-ended the other day and and I'm not sure when or if I'll be able to secure my own method of transportation again
