I'm not a musician, I just play one on stage.

Anti-violence; anti-racist; anti-homo/transphobia; anti-ableist; pro-creative; against ignorance.

Musician, Activist, Hiker, Music Librarian, "Popular" Music History Enthusiast.
Interestingly I turned on MSM, CNN to be exact and heard apologists for Robert Kraft saying that he was the good guy in the situation.

Robert Fucking Kraft as the good guy.

Nope

Mike Johnson and GOP are cowards. Rather than doing the right thing, the people’s work, and taking necessary action, they are going home until November.

NOVEMBER!!!!

You know who Ed Sheeran reminds of? People who don’t vote.
Ed Sheeran needs to learn that if you don’t “pick a side”, you’re picking the side of the oppressor.

Every single time.

It’s that simple.

Regardless of how we feel about a musicians talent or skill, it’s genuinely awesome to see someone who says “I’m not political” finally understand how political a statement that is.

Can someone list the former opening acts for Ed Sheeran? I’d like to take a listen to what they are making.

I see Ed Sheeran is looking for a new bassist…

I’m not offering my services.

Somebody was trying to convince me today that their god was good and brought up Job. I explained to them that his god tortured Job to win a bet with the devil.

The guy said, “really? That’s not what I heard, but I haven’t read it.”

I believe this is a reflection of the Christian majority.

Good art offends exactly those who need offending.
Bad art offends no one except those who know what good art is.

Dear Ed Sheeran,

If you chose not to decide you still have made a choice.

When I was a little girl in the 1980s I fell off my bike and skinned my knee. I'm telling you this now because we didn't have Bluesky then.

Democrats are not entitled to our votes. If they want want them, they have to meet us where we're at. If you don't like it, get better policy positions on trans people.

A: The pepper spray.

People who scream that they hate communism and socialism sure can’t wait to get their $5000 check from the government that they won’t ever see.

This race got boring quick. And McLaren threw the race away. Change Piastri’s wing during the VSC and anticipate the VSC and call Norris in when you see that yellow flag and Stroll stopped.

Imagine that team with Hannah being their head of strategy.

I was asked to play God Bless America at a gig because the hosts wanted patriotic music, I responded that This Land would be better and more patriotic. We played neither but that band is now my lowest priority.
Woody Guthrie penned "This Land Is Your Land" 86 years ago in 1940, in response to Irving Berlin's "God Bless America."
It was among the first songs to be chosen by the Library of Congress for inclusion in the National Recording Registry.

This really is the White Christian Nationalist brand. Better known as the GOP or Republicans.

Hypocrisy, child abuse, racism, in the name of Jesus.
A pastor for Michael Whatley, the North Carolina GOP Senate nominee, opened with a prayer asking God to bestow "integrity and honesty." It was delivered by Pastor Daimon King, a registered sex offender twice imprisoned for convictions involving children.

Let’s unpack what he’s saying here.

Never mind, I think it’s pretty clear.

We did it so wrong afterwards. We suspended constitutional rights embraced racism, and flouted jingoism. Saying that we did it wrong was cast as “unpatriotic” and thus authoritarianism gained another giant foothold.

And now the more dangerous terrorism is domestic and comes straight from the top.
