Tankers from the Gulf to Europe take 35-45 days via the Cape of Good Hope, 25-30 days via the Suez canal. From the Gulf to Asia it's 10-15 days, which is where "demand destruction" is now rife. Those if us not in West Asia are yet to feel the full ramifications of this crisis.

Been thinking recently about getting a new MacBook Pro. The M5s were just released, although the M6s are rumored to be coming later this year. Will hold out for now, while keeping an eye on the situation. Cause if things keep deteriorating, expect computer manufacturing to halt.
