Hello Bluesky! How it started - I was young I saw an injustice I locked onto a bulldozer stopped the destruction of an old growth forest it’s now protected by law I became a public interest environmental lawyer I’m now a Greens MP. I believe in democracy I love this beautiful blue green planet 🌎

Last year in Parliament, I warned the Minns Labor Government that their new tough-on-crime laws would fail to keep communities safe and only result in greater over-policing of First Nations kids - and that's exactly what happened.

This is the forest promised as part of the Great Koala National Park. Instead of protection, the Premier has sent in extinction machines and police to defend them.

The critically endangered Leadbeater’s possum has been found in Kosciuszko National Park! It was thought to be extinct in NSW.
The results of removing invasive species is proving to be exactly as the experts said, give the ecosystems a chance to recover before it’s too late - and recover they will!

In response to the increase in people held on remand due to the Minns Labor Government’s draconian law and order agenda, they are planning to invest $500 million to “strengthen” the prison and legal systems.
