And with that, Summer walked off into the night towards the inn. Saddened at the goodbye and hoping it wouldn't be forever. And most of all, hoping Neo could find herself again, and not interact with Salem again, if she couldn't have her help, the next best thing would be to keep Neo far away

She had no desire to go to Patch and see a family that wasn't even hers.... Not to mention that she would like to avoid Ruby as much as possible for now.
