Don’t update to macOS 27 Golden Gate.
It’s vibe coded and it sucks.
Tons of shis isn’t working at all, like minimized windows or the emoji picker.
Avoid this update for as long as you can. It’s bad.

These things should all be obvious, but I'm the doomer loser for saying it.
It also is an attack on adblock, including sponsorblock. Don't forget that it is a form of adblock.
The point is to make it easier to optimize, and optimization drives out meaning. Everything must be flattened & simplified

YouTube's move to make A/B testing of videos is designed to increase profit at the expense of reality. Change your narrative to suit the algorithm. It will funnel more directly the company, and hurt creators. It unfairly punishes those who can't afford the extra effort to use it.

It's starting to really piss me off that I call out when a company is going to do something destructive, I get called out as a doomer or as being too pessimistic, then it happens, no one acknowledges that I warned them, and the cycle fucking repeats.

And of course modern web design is to make everything dynamically load in the background instead of using the things the browser was actually designed for, so every page acts like it's loaded but has actually failed to load because everything is designed to only work on high speed connections.
