He worked in the paint shop at Lincoln-Mercury. At some point he was promoted to the custom detailing team, where he said he did lots of pinstriping and other painting by hand.

I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of the 360° Panorama Konstanz yesterday, which features Asisi’s monumental artwork depicting the Council of Constance (1414–1418).
I'm truly pleased that @almbawue.bsky.social was able to provide finds from that era for the accompanying exhibition.
