The love of a Labrador, I just had to sculpt it 😍

I have been lucky to have owned two beautiful labs in my life, and the look in their eyes would always melt me to their wishes.

Whippets are one of the most fiddly dogs to sculpt, but sculpting these two inseparable friends was worth it. Sadly, they both passed within a few weeks of each other. I did break several sweats, packing them up for postage to their owner. Thankfully, they arrived in one piece, or should I say two 😊

I spent a wonderful couple of hours wandering around Philip Jackson's beautiful back garden this summer. Just stunning. Although it made me feel a little outgunned as a fellow 'sculptor' (she says loosely), it was extremely inspiring.
