Either Panzer World Galient nosedives after the halfway mark or the hate for it is completely undeserved. IDK 13 episodes in I really like it. It does science fantasy better than most other science fantasy shows!

so my village has been having a lot of issues. rather than deal with any of them, i grabbed a goat and had all the villagers pile their blame and hate onto the goat. while we were getting ready to drive it into the woods (and absolve ourselves) the goat BIT ME????? RUDE?!?

A lot of these are older women that grew up in the 70s when D&D was considered evil and "Satan's boardgame". One described seeing the kids on "Stranger Things" play with their character sheets and asking "Where's Satan?" And feeling like she missed out when she was younger.
Fascinating watching the craft/scrapbooking/journaling crowd find solo rpgs or RPJs (role playing journals) as they're calling them.

I just cannot /not/ glaze Yoshiyuki Tomino. He's got the magic fucking touch. His average "bad anime" is Victory Gundam, a show that is consistently batshit insane, where the average director's average bad anime is a show you can't even remember even when you try.

It's been so long since the Mets were playing fine AND my schedule allowed me to watch baseball games live that I genuinely forgot what it felt like to see the mets pull victory out of the jaws of defeat and be left with the post-game fuzzies.

We need a special trophy for when a show fails the Bechdel Test, but you had multiple scenes where dozens of women were in a room together. At some point it becomes statistically impressive that you still managed to make it entirely about men.

It seems like most of the Naruto filler arcs have exactly half of an interesting idea (what if there was a scent-following beetle that could perfectly track, what if there were two nihilists who complimented each others' weaknesses, et c.) but don't attempt to follow through on the idea at all.
