EU Citizens please consider having a look at this! The EU login portal is a bit weird/slow on mobile devices sometimes but I believe this is worth our time.
I welcome this opportunity for feedback as a European citizen. I believe that even with the goal of adapting green technology for this operation the proposed scale of operations for this technology is too large. I support Europe's independence from foreign AI and Cloud solution providers and I believe a strong ethical and legal framework protecting people's likenesses, voices and creative works and work opportunities must take precedent over rushing to catch up in the implementation of this volatile technology. Furthermore, I am strongly concerned about the impact on local stakeholders who would be living near these data centres due to associations of job loss, pollution, biodiversity and reduced quality of life. I believe every area which would be directly impacted should have to give informed consent for the housing of a data centre near them. In conclusion, I would like to call for the strengthening of legislation around AI and Cloud technologies before committing resources to building, a reduced grid compliant scale of operations and opportunity for informed stakeholder consent in the region of every potential data centre. I support the focus on green and environmentally conscious development and urge The European Union to focus on the race of reducing climate change impacts over the race in AI development.

Please share your feedback on how genAI destroys the livelihoods of artists on the official EU website. You can do so even if you're not an EU citizen. We have to be loud so the change will come, and practice shoes that voicing hatred towards genAI works
