Not the route to take to be in good graces with your wife, Jinqi. He keeps screwing up acting like he has no EQ to recognize that everything he has done thus far is disrespectful to Lan Xiang. She clocked him well in ep 30. Somebody needs to smack some sense into his dull skull. #AgainsTheCurrent

I watched ep 25 & 26 & hot take, but Jin Qi using the decree to force marriage & his love on to Lan Xiang was done all wrong. However, I think his intentions were genuine & for that I give him a teeny tiny bit of grace. #AgainstTheCurrent #cdrama

I think the Head Madam is the real mastermind behind everything. The father told Qingyuan that the only woman he truly loved was her mother, though I’m taking that with a grain of salt because he’s hardly a reliable narrator. #SpringOfTheBlade #cdrama
