Struggling to get by in late stage capitalism, while living in the moment.

So FB has disabled my account, along with IG without any clear reason. I haven’t used it in a year. Trying to get my accounts back have been futile, since the dl link to my information leads to a blank page and the so-called “Help Center” is a dead end. All my contacts lost.

Because the federal government doesn't seriously fund rail travel and would rather pump billions of dollars in subsidies into airline companies that shit on customers daily. And because the automobile lobby has spent decades fighting rail spending at local, state, and federal levels.

Next question.

If someone said to you, “Don’t worry, you don’t need to know how to read, write, or do basic math,” you’d think they’re super weird and you’d wonder why they want to keep you as dumb as possible, so I don’t know why we’re clapping for AI CEOs and allowing them to speak this way.

Stop platforming this villian. He’d make a terrible president . Newscum does scummy things. Here’s one of many…
"Gov Gavin Newsom over the weekend vetoed legislation aimed at protecting providers of gender-affirming care from being extradited to face charges for doing so by another state."

He was "worried about constraints on the governor's power to approve extraditions".

Since Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza began, night raids – often targeting children – have become even more common.
Night raids rise in Palestine
Spike in detentions and incursions since October 2023 only accelerate decades of military abuses.

Saying "just buy an EV if you hate high gas prices" to poor people makes climate activists look out of touch. Those who are most impacted by high gas prices can't afford $20k+ on a vehicle and charger. I certainly can't, so let's keep that in mind before we shame people for not going electric.

All I read and hear about AI is how it can scrape data / plagiarize, make money (by layoffs), how to better spy on everyone, and how to kill you with pin point accuracy. Rarely do I hear or read about AI contributing to advances in medicine and technology that actually benefit us all and the planet.
