I've been so 'sappy' lately! in the best way. I tear up at movies again. I mark really good lines in books with sticky tabs. I feel like I hear the instrumental layers in songs more. I think I'm appreciating that art, by nature, is human.

I feel it's important to share this again. The internet is so hostile toward creators nowadays. I've seen people have their work stolen, and no longer feel comfortable sharing their creations. We can do better.

I got a positive test result.
my pharmacist (old classmate of mine) was like hey! that's great! we'll have to try an antibiotic treatment, and if it works you'll feel better in like 3 weeks!
so he sent a message to my NP aaaand

I'm so proud of myself for the hike I did yesterday!! it was around 30 degrees so it was ROUGH but I just preemptively took my migraine rescue meds and went for it.
it was AMAZING. so stunning. there were so many magical spots where I had to just stop and /be there/ for a while.

my last little thread sounded too sad for my liking. I'm okay, I promise! alongside my usual projects, I've been writing a lot of scripts and doing research. I've always LOVED writing essays. not the ones that tell you what to think, but the ones that invite you to understand.

I miss community. the huge, vague term. everything about it. it sucks having felt completely alone through the worst years of my life, but it feels similarly bad to feel alone in experiencing joy and passion again for the first time in a long while.
