bsky.app/profile/sand... ... ha ha poor British producers poor devils, especially in the 70s but right up through the late 80s too no matter what kind of film they made, it never seemed to go down well in the US and in Hollywood in particular !🫣🤪
@tamashiro002.bsky.social Katy this Tobe Hooper film didn't get the success it deserved either; it’s pointless the major studios are the ones that determine success Plus, history tells us that a British film like this was "snubbed" right from the start just like all British films in the 70s and 80s.

😡Last night, regarding these two films, i simply said that they didn't get the success they deserved and i don't understand why, given that they are very well made genre movies (even setting aside the two Hollywood giants who directed them).😜

bsky.app/profile/tast... We at the DDS Group would probably only manage to cook a dish like this with a Kalashnikov pointed at our tits but as our cooking teacher Mrs. Donati says anyone can cook anything they can imagine or invent just like in this case where there isn't a recipe to follow at all 🫣

To address Ms. Cinthia as well: the three young women in this case, for example, didn't know how to cook a single egg; this free school helps the girls and nothing more.🙃🙃

⚠️We get into arguments every damn night there are movies you watch just once and then stash away in the attic... but others always spark debate, and it’s a pleasure. Take *TRON*, for instance... damn it, why does everyone prefer the first one when the second one isn't bad at all ?😠

bsky.app/profile/stev... Romero paved the way for filmmakers passionate about the genre. However, this old zombie movie is hard to watch in 2026: even though we at DDS love the genre, no one has ever managed to get past the first 10 minutes, and none of us knows how it ends ...😓
Happy 58th anniversary to George A. Romero's NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, released at the Fulton Theater in Pittsburgh OTD in 1968. Horror movies (and zombies) would never be the same. Made at a cost of approximately $125,000, it would go on to gross over $30 million.

🤪🥩👍A quick, healthy, and very trendy dinner for the past few years, it has been a real craze among couples and singles alike: high-quality, lean beef dressed with just a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and lemon et voilà, a *très-chic* dinner is served !😘😜😋

bsky.app/profile/albe... That’s obviously your opinion; as i’ve always said, cinema is subjective whether you like a film is a personal matter, and the same goes if you don’t .😵
@tamashiro002.bsky.social Katy, i found the canadian version, but it’s not exactly a great genre movie anyway ... the lead actress is stunning she alone makes the film worth watching but the director and the entire production are a total snooze-fest !🥱🥱🫣

🍖🍗🥩In late September in Northern Italy, it is time for beef meatballs; these particular ones are unique to Milan, based on an ancient recipe from 1401 created by the wives of the workers building the famous Milan Cathedral.🤔

bsky.app/profile/titt... 1995 film by director Duguay certainly not a sci-fi specialist in fact idiotic comedies are his forte while *Scanners II* *Scanners III* were worth watching, they weren't on the same level as *Screamers* Fortunately he brought Dan O'Bannon whom we know very well onto the set
@tamashiro002.bsky.social I agree with you; it’s a shame that *Screamers*which we love didn't get the success it deserved. As always, the blame lies with certain fucking journalists who aren't fans of the genre but ought to be objective and unbiased... fuck 'em.😡😠

bsky.app/profile/moor... What on earth would you want to restore ? This's a 2001 movie shot using the technology of those badass years we weren't even born yet ! Those dated films should just be watched exactly as they are period.😠

😋Dear little girl "mule-head," the reason we decided not to continue with subsequent seasons is explained in P07my AS.C.AP sheet in the DDS "Maxy Baule" folder... there's no point writing about it here, as it comes down to our own private and debatable cinematic tastes.🤪
