Because a bunch of drama slop YouTubers and people who hate me bc of my COVID/disability justice advocacy have been making videos claiming I "left the left" or some shit for clicks and profit. These ppl have 0 solidarity with disabled folks and that's fundamentally why they hate me.

Yup! And this is amidst a MASSIVE COVID surge and the same week the CDC reclassified COVID levels to make high levels seem low aka lie to the public about transmission.

if an article about this conflict HAD to be written, you nailed THE major underlying structural problem at the heart that should’ve been the main subject: “lack of public health tearing apart community space that values accessibility to all” would be a much more apt headline.
that there’s a not insignificant population desperate to exist with just a smidge more clean air than is offered nigh anywhere else. don’t wanna wear a mask? awesome, congrats, essentially the entire rest of the world caters to you—places where inhaling virus is less likely are few & far between.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: our punk and drag shows have more covid mitigation than disease foundation summits and physicians conferences. Why can we do what people whose careers supposedly depend on the knowledge—with far more resources— can’t? #WeKeepUsSafe

I've seen old ladies make demands of church potlucks that would put the most annoying tenderqueer to shame, but there's no market for those stories. We'd all say, "Who cares? That's just some person being annoying" about the church lady, who we grant the right to be a normal annoying person...
