I have more questions than answers (e.g. role of acquis communautaire, four freedoms etc.).

Probably end up writing about this for TVO but keep in mind that a) the federal Parliament cannot by treaty reorder the constitutional division of powers and b) the vast majority of economic regulation is provincial, not federal. So c) any EU deal needs formal provincial buy-in.
