I know people will complain about this. But here's the harsh reality. Nintendo aren't your friends. They never were and they never will be. And I know that sounds cynical but it's true. Our "love" for this company is one sided.

Believe in Nate The Hate
I thought I'd make a sort of spiritual successor to this post here. As I feel like I have something unique to bring to conversation. A topic I'd to bring is people's high expectations for this year's Zelda Anni.
My theory for why Nintendo didn't say anything for Zelda's 40th anniversary: They're still focused on actively marketing the events for Mario's 40th anniversary.

If you guys can remember. There was a fan translation of Geppy-X in the works. Prior to this anniversary remaster we're getting. And it was planned to be released about this year. I do want to be able to play the original PS1 Experience Subbed. So I hope this doesn't deter them from getting it done.

As of today somebody need to update the lost media wiki page for the Cat Eyed Boy Geki Anime. As the DVD Box with the full series had just been released. And the entire show can be seen through Japanese Amazon. #cateyedboy #nekomekozo #lostmedia #猫目小僧

For those who don't know. It's Kyoushoku Sokou Guyver's 40th Anniversary as well. By comparison to other Annis of this year though, this one has been especially looking bleak. Due to factors like outrageous merch prices and the main manga still on it's Hiatus from since 2016.

Characters like Soichiro Akizuki make me wonder what Kamen Rider BLACK would've been like had Shozo Uehara stayed as the main writer. And I'm going to be honest when I say, *sometimes* I wish he did.

When it comes to villains in Kamen Rider BLACK. Shadow Moon is the one I see brought up. But I feel it would be more interesting to hear what people think of the Gorgom High Priests.

The reason why I don't post on BlueSky as much as I do on Twitter is mainly because more niche stuff like Showa Manga and Tokusatsu doesn't have as much prevalence here as there. And while I could talk Dragon Ball all day. I don't want to talk about something that I'm obviously into.

This anime (Genshi Shonen Ryu) is a loose anime adaptation of a manga by Ishinomori (Ryu no Michi). And then Genshi Shonen Ryu got a manga adaptation by Ishinomori himself. So he made his own adaptation of a loose adaptation of his own source material... Is that confusing?

I find it most interesting that Umezz redrew Cat Eyed Boy for the Volume Release to make him look less cute and more intimidating. Weird world of Serialized vs Tankobon.

Gotta love it when you have groovy songs like this playing in the background of a fight scene. God I love Showa Era tokusatsu.

Writing sucks sometimes. There are a lot of obstacles that come your way by just starting a book. Conflicting ideas, struggling to actually write the thing other than the ideas. Oh man writing hurts your head. And I'm taking a break for now.
