This is why I think it's so important to push back against the personification of LLMs.
If a person shoots someone while wearing a hand puppet, they can't claim the hand puppet did the murder.

Referring to the harm as being caused by LLMs, when it is caused by people, actually serves to exonerate the people as if they did not make explicit decisions.

Nice to see the `git history fixup` command added to Git 2.55. Handy for quickly amending previous commits in one go: github.blog/open-source/...
I’ve been doing more pattern matching in my Ruby code of late and boy is it neat when it fits to a problem. So good for working with deep nested hash structures from API responses.

The central conceit in my Branch in Time talk was based on the surprising behaviour when calling .order() on an Active Record association that already has one baked in. Great to see default_order added as a way to avoid this surprise.
