Kid likes it when I sing to him. I'm realising a lot of my post-1975 faves are useless for singing a capella: single-note melodies that rely on lots of guitar accompainment. Had some luck with Doors and Procol Harum; sorry to be singing to you abt drugs and debauchery, son. I should try Queen!

Big life update, our kid was born 10 days ago! It was a c-section due to some monitoring anomalies, but outside of that, he's been getting good grades in being a baby from midwife and other professionals. So far, he's mostly a little shark: eating a lot, constantly moving, exceptionally smooth 🦈🦈

Hey wasn't that the argument that justified the Manhattan Project? How did that one work out in regards to minimizing the risk?
a lot of people have trouble believing they are serious, because it is a ludicrous thing to say out loud, but as far as I can tell anthropic at least genuinely believes:

Found a website where factories/shops/bankrupt companies auction off stuff to be rid of it. It's endlessly fascinating! Wanna buy a machine you didn't know existed for pennies? The nice wooden cupboard from the boss' office? Sixteen ebikes? Maybe "room contents" (= the broom cupboard)? Best >

I'm lying, I do enjoy it, except putting on primer. It's sticky and takes hours to dry. Get it on your fingers and it won't come off without intense scrubbing, but neither will it dry, so you get it on everything. It's a mess 😭
