House Republicans adjourned last night without agreement on a rule, tried to bring the Rules Committee back this morning to figure out a way forward, failed, and are now totally adrift. Budget resolution, FISA, Farm Bill all up in the air. Love working in the U.S. House of Representatives

I've studied so many concentration camps through history that held vulnerable people in just this kind of crowded squalor. You demonize people, you demand more arrests, this is what you get. It already has its own budget and its own momentum, and is on track to go much further, unless we stop it.

As the parent of transgender child, I can testify that the standard of care was EXTREMELY CONSERVATIVE even before the recent moral panic. I cannot stress this enough. EXTREMELY CONSERVATIVE. Anyone who says otherwise is completely uninformed or blatantly lying. Period.
In reality, the medical field is extremely conservative. Every medical body recommends thorough assessment for minors and practitioners have moved slowly and carefully as they gather evidence on this emerging field.
