Can the party drug ketamine be a mental health breakthrough? It was for me | CNN

My audiologist said I have "stonkingly bad" hearing 😂

God love him.

I do love how The Gentlemen is so undeniably Ritchie, it's comforting that he has a style that's really obvious 😆

In the last couple of weeks I realised I needed a bedside lamp so I have more options beside "sit in the dark" or "use the Big Light"

Couldn't decide what to buy and it was annoying me

Earlier a neighbour posted that they'd left a lamp outside their door

LAMP DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM BABY!

I started watching Nathan For You, the ending of the gas station one is just so incredibly perfect I don't understand the infinitesimally small chances of finding two people who are okay with drinking piss and discussing it in detail on camera

Are sun-dried tomatoes actually dried in the sun ? Because that does feel a bit inefficient

The buildings here are quite beautiful (yes I know my face is blocking the view)

This hotel is prob ~worst hotel I've stayed at in the UK. I had a nightmare last night, while sleeping in the hotel, about the hotel. In my dream the staff kept coming in and letting people come through while we were trying to sleep.

Earlier today a member of staff just came in without knocking. 😐

I'm discovering that, like pool, there is a certain level of drunkenness that makes me good at darts

Unfortunately it's like four cocktails

Guys we are in such a bad hotel

One of the mattresses is so worn down that you sink into it, there's like an actual curve in it

Threadbare carpets

The cupboard looks like a prison commissary

The bar is now a nightclub even tho it's just us?

It's allegedly £300 a night but we got a discount

My Uber driver noticed my shirt and asked me what it said
"Oh...do you know the director David Lynch?"
"No?"
"Oh um he did Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, a bunch of films...they're all a bit weird.. "
"Hmm never heard of him"
"It's him and a quote from Twin Peaks"
"I thought it was a politician" (!)

It's quite difficult to continue fostering a sense of curiosity and needing to know things and asking questions when you've been berated for that same instinct

It's possible that I am going to a festival (" ") that is more for industry experts than like normal people with a passing interest but whatever

I do think it's quite unfair to ask people questions where they just won't have anywhere close to the context you need to have an actually informed answer as opposed to like *closes eyes and picks one*
As the Bayeux Tapestry opens to the public at the British Museum, what impact do Britons think the Norman Conquest had on British history?

Positive: 25%
Neither: 25%
Negative: 6%

Don't know: 44%

Reality TV makes me realise that actually nobody remembers exactly how they or other people worded things, they basically go off vibes, and that causes soooooooooo many arguments

The DWP really is playing silly buggers at this point. I submitted an MR, they've told me I need evidence from carers etc

There's no institutional knowledge about what being deaf means, how it can affect you.. every single person needs to submit their own evidence pointing out the obvious...

Kimi K3 has scared the crap out of all the American tech bros because it's performed shockingly well AND it's open source and open weighted

China is like, already winning lol
The US Treasury secretary warned that “nothing else would matter” if China were to win the AI race, highlighting Washington’s angst that Beijing may be catching up in the global competition for technological supremacy.

Incredible.
The number of cases of cervical cancer reported in Scotland among women given the HPV vaccine at 12-13 years of age is now zero.

Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero. Zero.

It's amazing how much unnecessary stress people with severe anxiety go through

But... do you think I would *actively choose* to be like this?
