Y'all, I don't think I'm ready for the absolute shit show that's going to be the election next month. The last dying breaths of the Confederacy are going to be loud and angry AF.

Literally every mobile game and now is just shots of giant jiggly boobs and anime girl O expressions and tags like "Can you tame her?" And "She's waiting for you" and somehow all these games are rated T. Most will eventually get switched to M, but it takes ages for that to happen for some reason.

When people say that all of the AI companies are equally trash I point them to shit like this because ChatGPT will help murderers plan their shootings, but Claude gives me a lecture because the writing I wanted it to format was a little bit too spicy.
Just when I think I can’t hate OpenAI and Sam Altman any more, new details come out about how ChatGPT helped a shooter plan one of the worst mass shootings in Canadian history in Tumbler Ridge, BC.

OpenAI made an explicit decision not to report the user to authorities.
ChatGPT helped the Tumbler Ridge school shooter focus on guns, tactics, and terror, our investigation reveals
OpenAI’s chatbot fed the shooter’s violent fantasies and planning up to the massacre.

My feed is basically just a constant competition of Mamdani Saves All the Puppies and Trump Kills All the Puppies and it's like watching a reality TV show where the nice contestant doing everything right is up against the self centered prick and for some reason the end result isn't clear.

I love the fact that for some inexplicable reason, Tifa Lockhart wears the iconic cherry red Air Jordans basically and it's just part of her look even though it doesn't match her outfit at all. Those shoes are that of a famous athlete who was kind of a rebel, which feels very fitting. In this essay

I don't think most people understand the extent to which literally everybody in MAGA is fucking each other - except Trump of course, much to his dismay. He made a weird sex cult where nobody has sex with him.
🧵Lauren Boebert had sex with three of her staffers. Two of them were women. Her sex partners were Clarisse Navarro, Jeffrey Small and Raven Finnegan. Navarro's husband Jace Ratzlaff: "I assumed this would eventually surface. I’ll have no further comment on this topic.”

The Lanterns TV show is...uh....a show technically. There's a small chance it's going to be brilliant, but there's a huge chance this is just going to be a huge waste of time. Multiple time jumps in the first episode and then it ends before we really even know what it's about? Oof.

My favorite part about this giant AI group hallucination bubble is that it literally cannot function without us. It needs constant new human created assets to steal from or it basically just dies. And there's so much AI slop out there that it's cannibalizing other AI work now instead of human.

I work in the Bay Area and I swear if I have to hear one more person come up with the solution to a problem to be to use AI, I might just start setting things on fire. It's like it's the ONLY thing anybody can come up with anymore is the lowest effort, most mediocre option possible.

My favorite part about US politics is that for the last like 30 years, our border has been guarded by Shrodingers Cat. There both is and is not a strong border, depending on the time of day and the sentence you need to finish. Every politician will say it's the most secure and the least.

All of this was the whole point. Emperor Diarrhea was never trying to remove illegal immigrants, he was rounding up minorities to disappear into concentration camps to prop up the trash food corporations with cheap prisoner labor. All so he could get a cut of the action.
The diarrhea lettuce company, Taylor Farms, uses slave labor contracted from the Arizona Dept. of Corrections. The backbreaking labor is often performed by imprisoned Mexican nationals who would be otherwise ineligble to work in the US. They are paid $1.50 an hour.
The Diarrhea Lettuce Company Has Been Linked to Forced Labor
The lettuce-producing Taylor Farms was linked to the widespread use of prison labor before its involvement in a cyclospora outbreak.

All I want is a nice mobile live service game with seasons and banners, but zero energy limit and no auto battle. I'll happily pay like $50 for that. Basically I want RuneScape, but with magical sword girls and time traveling gun bros you put into teams and can spreadsheet their power levels.

My favorite part about Late Stage Capitalism is that you can be a leader in your field, make a wildly successful product, and have everyone love you, but you're still getting fired anyway because corporate need number go up this month and doesn't have two brain cells to rub together.

All these "AI D&D" games I keep getting ad-spammed for claim "infinite possibilities", but that's about as true as PS's "Play Has No Limits" slogan. They're limited, dull, and quite expensive. Meanwhile, you can just find half dozen fellow insane people in need of therapy on the Internet for free.

I love how all power could basically be free for everyone around the world but the oil barons are still running things and they don't like that, so we can't.

So if Xbox is getting out of the console business and Sony is committing suicide by stopping the production of physical media, does that mean that the Steam will once again win by default as the go-to for home consoles with the Machine?

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die (2025) is 2/3rds of a good movie, an 1/3rd master class in obliterating your earned good will with your audience.

A ★★★ review of Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die (2025)
Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die (2025) feels like a movie where the first scene was filmed as a pitch to greenlight everything that followed. The initial premise is genuinely compelling, and the worldb...

The only shocking this about this is how long it took for him to do. I had honestly assumed this would be a Day 1 thing.

When you leave people no other possible hope of recourse against you, don't be surprised when they grab the torches and pitchforks.

I have a coworker that obsessively uses AI for literally everything and our manager asked us for a quick work hours total of our standard project type and he shared with the group a THREE PAGE doc that was riddled with false information. I submitted a single sentence of correct information.
