Somebody remind me - why do we need [walking poles](<www.theguardian.com/thefilter…)? I seem to be able to walk and hike in a perfectly acceptable fashion without them… 🚶
I hiked 100 miles to find the best walking poles, here are my favourites
Trekking poles can improve balance on uneven terrain and reduce stress on joints. Our seasoned adventurer put 10 to the test to find the best

Definitely one of the better modern cricket autobiographies I’ve read. (Written with the assistance of Michael Calvin)

A very dry salt lake, a resting place, classic lunch and a little rain
A vast, dry landscape with cracked earth, sparse vegetation, and a partly cloudy sky in the background. Three cats are sleeping on dry leaves scattered on the ground near large rocks. A table is set with plates, glasses of wine and beer, a salad, bread, and a carafe, with a scenic view of trees, cars, and a body of water in the background. A sandy beach with a few trees stretches alongside calm turquoise waters under a dark, overcast sky.
